We are looking to match one of the first two photos... we need a sunrise taken at 8pm PACIFIC time or a sunset taken at 445am Eastern time. If you submit either of those photos we will send you $100 plus a vested interest in the future of this project.

Simple start, Pair #1

All we need right now to kick off the project is ONE photo of a SETTING sun, anywhere in the world where the sun is rising in Acadia National Park, Maine, at the same time. We chose the Acadia sunrise as the first half of the first pair because it is the first sunrise in the United States, and because I was there recently to take a photo. Tools like THIS ONE will be useful. I think the first match is probably in India or China somewhere but I am staying hands off to see if we can find it naturally. s
